2b. With a well Labeled diagram, Explain how you can determine the specific heat capacity of a substance through electrical method.
3. Assuming that the S.H.C of water is 4180j/kg/k, how long will it take to heat 3kg of water from 28oC to 88oC, using electric kettle which taps 6A from 220V supply?
3b. An electric heater is used in heating 100g of water from 50oC to 100oC,. Calculate the time, t, during which the current flowed. Neglect the S.H.C of the calorimeter, assume that the S.H.C of water is 4200j/kg/k, and the power of heater is 50W.
